Liverpool didn’t have it easy, but they did manage to win a perfect European away win with a 2-0 victory in San Siro, thanks to goals by Roberto Firmino, and Mo Salah.

Harvey Elliott made his Champions League debut at San Siro Stadium against the Italian champions. It was a strange moment.

In the 14th minute, Sadio Mane was awarded a free kick from Andy Robertson. Sadio Mane was awarded a completely free kick from an Andy Robertson free-kick. He missed but was able to score the goal.

Inter immediately dropped to the opposite end and Calhanoglu fired an angled shot at the bar from close range.

Mane attempted another overhead strike during the match. This time, he was paired with the No.10 player who had been heavily involved since the beginning.

Both sides had their chances, but neither team was able to break the deadlock before the half-time mark. The referee made sure of this by not letting go of the ball just as Salah was unleashed in the Inter defense.

  • Elliott was the first player to make a Champions League debut
  • Klopp sought more control.
  • Two goals in eight minutes late on
  • Second Leg at Anfield on March 8,

Roberto Firmino, who replaced Diogo Jota, was announced during the break.

Inter was the better team in the second period and could have scored when Liverpool opened up in the second. Martinez missed Perisic’s cross from the six-yard box.

Klopp made three substitutions in an attempt to stop the tide of the hour. He called Luis Diaz and Jordan Henderson into the team. Everyone was surprised when Elliott, Mane, Fabinho, and Fabinho were brought in.

Diaz was impressed immediately and was close to finding the opening. However, he lost his shot when Alexander-Arnold gave him the ball during a beautiful play.

After Firmino had fired a well-placed shot from Robertson’s corner into the left corner, the breakthrough occurred 15 minutes later.

Inter seemed to be running out of gas, and Liverpool’s replacements have contributed to the improvement.

After Van Dijk’s free kick, Salah scored in the area.

James Milner, in his 808th game appearance, was substituted for Thiago.

Although it wasn’t an easy match, it was against Italy’s best team. Klopp’s replacements performed flawlessly, with Diaz being hugely influential and Firmino scoring the goal.

In the next few weeks, the Reds will return to Merseyside for two home league games against Norwich and Leeds. The second leg will be played at Anfield on March 8, with the first scheduled for March 8.
